Crime Stoppers and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an Aggravated Assault.
On Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at approximately 2:00 p.m., an unknown Hispanic male suspect assaulted the victim in the 17000 block of Dew Drop Lane in Harris County, Texas. During the incident, the suspect (driving a dark 2013-2014 Ford F-150 Platinum Edition Pick-up truck) met the victim in the Sommerall neighborhood. After speaking with the victim for a few minutes, the suspect sped away (with the victim holding on to the front passenger side door of the Ford f-150). The suspect drove erratically and at a high rate of speed for ¼ of a mile while attempting to throw the victim from the side of the truck. The suspect accelerated towards a parked vehicle, causing the victim to strike the parked vehicle and fall to the ground. The suspect fled the area in an unknown direction of travel. The victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for serious bodily injuries. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 17 to 20 years old.
