WANTED: Fugitive, out on bond, who attacked family member

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department's Major Assaults / Family Violence Division need the public's assistance locating fugitive Dijion Smith, who is wanted for Aggravated Assault (impeding Breath) – Family Violence, Violation of a Protective Order, and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. 
 
On Tuesday, January 28, 2020, fugitive Dijion Smith was involved in a Family Violence Assault that took place in the 12500 block of Dunlap Street in Houston, Texas. During the incident, the fugitive struck the victim several times causing injury and pain. The fugitive continued the assault by strangling the victim until her body went numb. The fugitive was on bond (during this assault) which was later revoked and additional warrants were issued for the previous Violation of a Protective Order and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon charges. The fugitive was charged under Harris County warrant # 1663681, 2284643, and 2250049. 
 
Fugitive Dijion Smith is a black male, 26 years old, approximately 5'11", 150 lbs., with brown eyes and short dark hair.  Smith has a prior conviction in 2018 for assault of a family member.
