Robbery Suspect Shoots at Victim and Narrowly Misses

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division still need the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. On Saturday, January 18, 2020, at around 3:30 am, the complainant stated that he was working at the Shell, located at 11001 Fuqua, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that he noticed two unknown males acting suspicions inside the store. One of the males then pulled out a handgun and while pointing it at him, demanded his wallet. The complainant pulled out his wallet and while attempting to give the suspects the cash, one of the suspects threw a heavy wood display, striking him in the face. At the same time, the suspect with the gun discharged the weapon twice, narrowly missing the complainant. The complainant then dropped his wallet, at which time the suspect picked it up and both males fled the scene, leaving in a maroon two-door vehicle. Houston PD #81627-20 Suspect description: Suspect #1: Hispanic male, black hoodie, gray sweat pants, white shoes and armed with a revolver. Suspect #2: Hispanic male, dark-colored hoodie, blue jeans shorts and white shoes. Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect in this case.
