Suspect Steals Victims Wallet and the Buys Television
Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a theft from person (robbery) and credit card abuse.
On Sunday, September 6, 2020 at around 10:30 am, the complainant was shopping at the Marshall’s, located at 1450 West Gray, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that an unknown female walked up to her and started to talk to her while asking her advice on several clothing items. The complainant stated that the unknown female got uncomfortably close to her on a few occasions, but did not think anything of it. The complainant stated that she remained in the store for a while longer and received a text stating that her credit card was used for a large purchase at the Walmart, located at 111 Yale (1.6 miles away). The complainant then realized that her wallet had been removed from her purse from the unknown female, who had left immediately after their conversation. Houston PD #1181990-20
Note: Surveillance cameras at the Walmart captured the suspect purchasing a television for $712.29.
Suspect description: Black females, 40 to 45 years old, 5’6 to 5’8, white shirt, and black shorts and wore sandals.
